      About Westboro

      • Westboro Village is a unique and diverse neighbourhood in Ottawa located along the Ottawa River. Residences enjoy the tree-lined streets that are filled with popular stores and restaurants.       Neighbourhood Demographic

      • As an up and coming trendy neighbourhood Westboro attracts many young professional, families and also retirees. This area of Ottawa has many active, lively people with many cyclists, baby strollers and runners everywhere the eye can see.

      Transit / Parking

      • The neighbourhood is served by two OC Transpo stations: Westboro and Dominion, as well as Route 2, which provides frequent local service along Richmond Road.


      Amenities

      • There are several grocery stores along Richmond the heart of Westboro and a few scattered without the neighbourhood. Chez Francois, Farm Boy, Kitchenalia Inc. Real Canadian Superstore, Food Basics, Herb & Spice Shop Wellington Natural Food Pantry and Kardish Health Food Center.
      • The availability for recreational activities are unreal from the Westboro Beach to Churchill Seniors Recreation center there is something for everyone. There is the Ottawa Gymnastics Center, Rob’s Music & the Ottawa Conservatory Vocal & Dance and many gyms. If you are looking for more outside time you can head to Roy Duncan Park, Iona Park and Westboro Kiwanis Park.


      Schools

      • As there are many new families in the neighbourhood Westboro provides a variety of school for the little ones. Such as Westboro Montessori School, Churchill Carling Daycare and Westboro Nursery School. Additional schools include Hilson Avenue Public School, Centre Jules-Leger a Special education school, Blyth Academy Ottawa, Upper school and Machon Sarah High School. Finally a few neche schools in the area, PC Cooking School and Fine Art Bartending school.
