About Riverside South

• Is a residential suburban neighbourhood located in South Gloucester in the Nepean Ward on the south side of the city. It is currently an up and coming community and is planned to be a major community with expansions creeping into the Manotick area. Riverside South has ravines, pristine forests, waterfront parks and nature trails.

Neighbourhood Demographic

• Riverside South’s demographic is another area of Ottawa that attracts many families. As an Ottawa suburb Riverside South’s attracts many working families that are attracted to its many schools and its close proximity to face transportation, including the Ottawa Airport. Riverside South offers a more diverse variety of living situations with condo, apartments and single family homes.

Transit / Parking

• There are a few options for alternative transportation in the Riverside South Area. But first you cant forget the amazly close proximity residences have to the Ottawa Airport. Back to in town transportation.

• There are two main Park and Rides one is The Riverview Park & Ride lot this is located on Earl Armstrong across from the shopping plaza. The second park and side is call The Leitrim Park & Ride lot and is located off Leitrim road between Bowesville and Albion on Gilligan Road.

• Train - If you are a residence of Riverside South you are a close drive to the Trillium Line Train that runs through to Bayview transit terminal. You are also able to park your vehicle in the Greenboro Park and Ride.

• Bus - There are a few bus routes that service the Riverside South area. Millenium -> Riverview – Route 94, Greenboro -> Barrhaven Centre – Route 99 and Riverview -> Greenboro – Route 189 can help you get across the city. These three OC Transpo routes come every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the time of day.
