      About Stittsville

      • Is a Suburban community located to the west of downtown Ottawa. This family focused part of Ottawa is filled with natural areas, and a variety of shops and local business. Weather you are spending the day in the quiet little town or walking the Trans Canada trail stitvill has somthing for everyone.

      Neighbourhood Demographic

      • Today Stittsville is home to many families looking for the small town feel well still being close to the big city. It a neighbourhood with a blend of rural Ottawa meets Suburban Ottawa. A place to embrace the slow, relaxed pace of a small town and the heighten experience of the city close by.

      Transit / Parking

      • If you are looking to bus throughout Ottawa you can still do so from this beautiful neighbourhood. With that being said there are two bus routes that run through Stittsville. The two major OC Transpo routes are the #61 and #62 that comes every 30 minutes in peak hours.


      Amenities 

      • As a fully developed neighbourhood in Ottawa, Stittsville has several stores that can meet all if most of your needs. Here is a link to their website that links many of the main shops, stores and restaurants that they provide.
      • Recreation - There are many things to do in Stittsiville such as walking the Tran Canada Train, along with many parks and recreational centers to keep the whole family busy. 


      Schools

      • There are several different schools spread through the town of Stittsville. For the young children there is the Imagination Station Preschool and Kinder Inc., Stittsvill Co-Operative Nursery School Inc., Banting Child Care Program, Merrily We Go Pre- Schoo.l
      • There are two public schools in the area and they are Stittsville Public School and Westwind Public School. Additionally there are a few more Catholic schools, they are St. Stephen School, Holy Spirit Elementary School, Ecole Secondaire Catholique Paul-Desmarais, Sacred Heart High School and Guardian Angels School.
